Hi me and my girls were thinking of going to sunny beach on the 14th august for a week, after reading some reviews on other forums about the area its made think is it a safe place for females especially black females. I was wondering if anyone can give me an insight if this place is welcoming of other cultures because I have been to other places in Europe and locals stare at me which makes me feel uncomfortable. Also is sunny beach a good place for night life because this my first holiday away from the parents and I want to have a good time :) Thanks

Hi - We're planning a short vacation to Sunny Beach at the end of May, and are interested mainly in nature, scenery and local culture, and less in parties, clubs and casinos... We're planning to go to Nessebar and Sozopol, and would really like to go on a day trip to the mountains. Please recommend us places for a day trip, that focus on nature (preferably with some short hikes) - and can be done privately, without an organized tour, and not on a 4WD... (either on public transportation from Burgas or by renting a car for a day. Thanks a lot, Ana. P.S. my partner & i are going half board to the majestic hotel from 23rd sept for one week, we are not big drinkers but like to have 1 or 2 with a meal, we wont be going 2 any aqua parks maybe a trip on a local bus into nessbar for a look round we not sure how much spending money we should take can anyone help us decide we have no idea on how much things cost in bulgaria x

Me and my girlfriend are going to Sunny Beach in August 2011. We have booked Victoria Palace - has anyone been?? If so what are your thoughts. Also we have heard that prices over there for nights out (i.e Meals and drinks) are really cheap but all of the websites that we have been looking at are the prices from 2008 latest ---- Can anyone update us on the prices over there. Mainly on the drinks aspect but we may sober up one night to go for the occasional meal too :) Thanks

Hi, I've been trawling the internet for weeks now trying to price up the different trips and excursions available in Sunny Beach. I'm travelling in a couple of weeks with my three children and other family members and i want to do a few fun trips with them Khans' Tent sounds good as does the Pirate Ship, beach horse riding and the waterpark. I would appreciate it if anyone could recommend anything else but could also let me know the prices. Many thanks. Amie x

I’ve booked an apart but I will possibly have to buy lunches or dinners on site. As I will stay on Sunny Beach with my two kids alone, I would prefer to pre-pay buffet lunches (or set menu like business lunch) at some hotel. (with kids sometimes it is better not to wait for your order but just to come and eat and go away as soon as possible. What is the best and real price and which hotel/ restaurant is the best deal? Will it be possible at all? The directions: Glarus & Grand Victoria, Tanya, Regina (mine is Excelsior aparthotel). Thank you.
