need some info about sudan

i am travelling to sudan in a few days, i have a visa,the tickets and a letter of invitacion.i have made up an itinerary but i am not sure where to contact reliable in khartoum..who to travel with..if its ok on your own or if you have any useful contacts, nice people, friends... Would be great to get some info before i leave!! thanks in advence CHeeerio
