Although there is plenty of public transport available, you can just get a taxi from outside Arrivals to Milan city centre. I assume you mean Milan Linate airport, but the same applies to Milan Malpensa airport. Same applies Stresa>Como. A local taxi firm will probably take you, although it won't be particularly cheap. You could also contact http://www.stresataxi.net/ for a quote.
