Tickets for Stonehenge

by lagadoo Online Now May 21, 2010 at 4:11 AM

I was looking into London attractions but would also like to visit stonehenge if time allows.

Is it better to book in advance or is it not worth it. I have found some tickets online at: 365tickets.com/prodhubs.cfm/...

however they are the same price as gate so wondered if anyone knew if this was worth it to savce time on the day when i get there?

There is absolutely no sense in booking Stonehenge in advance. Just pay at the entry gate. Get plenty of information on :

    english-heritage.org.uk/days...

Absolutely agree. There is no advantage whatsover in booking tickets in advance. Entrance to Stonehenge is not limited per se; it's an open-air site.

I very much doubt you will find ticket queues massively long.

I too had never heard of this site before your previous question. I too could too not understand how it makes a profit but now notice it does charge a 'processing fee'.

So you will actually be paying more for your ticket once 'processing' is included, and you'll pay for the ink you need to print it out as well.
