I have to spent a week in Stockholm between March 13-22/2009, Id like to have some recommendations about to take the more in the city and ever any day-trip recommended.
The 2 day trips I can recommend are Sigtuna (about 1 hour by train+bus) and Uppsala (40 minutes by train).

Well, a weeke in stockholm and you will have time to see many things. I would recommend you to visit Uppsala too. It is abt 40 min away and it is a n university city but has many nice uidlings and and athmosphere. Then I suggest you to take a cruise to Åland, but you never enter the island.It is nice and relaxing. You can have good food,spa and dancing. Many lovely girls maybe attend the boat... Who knows? Anyway, that is two days. A third day outside Stockholm you should visit gripsholm Slott (castle) in mariefred. Very nice one. Then you can do all the typical tourist things inside Stockholm city. Skansen, the Royal castle, Old Town, Södermalm, Vasa musuem, a visit to City Hall Tower and watch the city. I think this is enough to begin with and then you can find all info you need at Tourist office in Kungsträdgården. Good luck and have fun. You can continue my city and check my web page abt Sweden.
