Hi all, I don't have my hiking boots with me this trip, just regular running shoes/sneakers. All the reviews tell me that this trail can be pretty rough and traverses a lot of rock, plus some very steep passes. Can I do it in tennis shoes? What about when I get to the rock (bolten?) itself...are tennis shoes too slick to stand on the rock? Thanks for any tips. (FWIW, I'm a fit hiker and the altitude gained/6 hours RT shouldn't be a problem)
In good weather it should be no problem, but figure on wet feet if rain

I've walked up to Kjeragbolten in Sneakers, but it's rather slippery at parts! It's best to use hiking boots, but I'm sure if you have some great sneakers/running shoes, you'll be just fine:) Just make sure that the weather is nice:) Have a nice trip!
