Flaggruten boat to Stavanger

Hi, I'm planning to take a Flaggruten boat from Bergen to Stavanger in August. The boat departs Bergen at 9:50 and arrives to Stavanger at 14:20. Is it possible (realistic) to get to the ferry to Tau which departs at 14:45 from the same pier? Do Flaggruten boats from Bergen to Stavanger usually arrive on time? Thank you.

The Flaggrute is usually on time. The few times it isn't is if it goes at reduced speed in bad weather. But the weather has to be fairly bad for that to happen. But should that happen, then surely there are more ferries to Tau?
