Hi I am meeting my daughters ship coming into Norfolk. I would like a place to see the ship "at sea" before it actually docks into Norfolk. Is there a good place to watch the ships come into harbor that is not on base?
Hi all! (it echos in here! - anyone around?) We'll be heading for the Staunton, VA area in a couple of days and we'd be really happy to hear about any tips anyone might have for finding some free firewood in the area. We don't need a ton of it - just enough for a campfire for a few nights. The last trip we took we happened to pass by a place where someone had just cut a tree down and left the logs by the side of the road with a free sign on them, and that was great. Any suggestions?
