I am hopefully going for a holiday to Kerala! (just had a spate of cancellations!!) We propose to stay for two days in thekkady and then have a gap of three days, after which we have bookings in ashtamudi. Could I have some suggestions on where to stay on those three days. It will be in the first week of June. We want it to be enroute to Ashtamudi from Thekkady. Thank you,
At Thekkady i assume you are going to visit the nearby park. When i passed by many years ago i heard there were tigers there but talked to a ranger who had never seen one in 30 years. I hope you gonna do a backwater trip from there. Sorry, cannot help you on the Ashtamudi question

I'm not sure what sort of things you want to do, but the pilgrimage centre of Sabarimala is about halfway between the two (Pathanamthitta), from distancesfrom.com/map-from-A.... Otherwise, I think you would have to go somewhat offtrack, and veer off to Kottayam/beyond before continuing to Thekkady.

Sabarimalai is not open thorugh out the year and also entry is restricted to only males and women above 50 or below 7 years. Thank you for trying to help

At Thekkady, i've experienced Hotel Ambadi. It's good and clean and pleasant and all that. There are numerous other places too, but haven't stayed at any of those. Have no idea about Ashtamudi.
