Hi There you good travellers Me and my girlfriend will leave the husbonds at home and bring our daughters (13 years and 3 years) to Kerala in November. Any good idea for where to stay and what to do? We are thinking about going back water sailing for some days, but would also like to see some nature and hang at the beach. We have a budget, so no 5-star (aprox 25€ pp per day for accomodation). and the same for adventure and food. Please advice.... Thanks and take care out there Splixa
You are going to Kerala and you haven't thought about seeing some Indian dancing. Perhaps the 3 year old is too small, but your 13 year old deserves the cultural experience.

Hi if you come with your 02 young daughters then you must stay in a good accommodation. In Kerala, there are good home stay with reasonable rent (INR 2000 to 5000. You shall arrive at Cochin international airport and can depart from Trivandrum international airport. In between you can explore Alleppey (backwater), Munnar (Nature), Periyar (Adventure), Kovalam (Beach).

We are now home again. It was a lovely trip. We ended up going to Varkala. Found a homestay named Keratheeram with a great family and stayed there for 20 days. We went two nights backwater sailing which was lovely. We saw Kathakali (incl. makeup session) real cool. Went to fest in Kollam and saw magic show - a hit for my 3 year old. And then just relaxed and played in the water. I can surely recommend.
