We are planning to visit Togo in July. We will be in the country for 5 days. Does anyone know of a reliable Taxi service who can drive us around the country. We have set agenda which starts at the Ghana border to Lome and to the Northern part of Togo and back to the Ghana Border.

We will be visiting Togo in July of this year. We arrive in Accra during the middle of the day. We would like to get to Lome by evening. We will have some luggage as well. What is the best approach for this situation? I have read that one get Togo Visa at the border. How long does it take? If I left at 2:00 PM from Accra will I make it to the Visa office on time? Once you cross the border from Ghana into Togo, how far is Lome? Is it easy to find transportation there? Lastly, is the return back to Accra straightforward. I will have a visa for Ghana as I land in that country

Hello all, My work approached me about traveling to Hyderabad for work. I've never been to India before and I am in general a little anxious about leaving the United States. I was curious how Americans are perceived there. I remember seeing some radicals on the news in past years, is this still a reality or are there other security concerns? Hi everyone, I'm re-locating to Hyderabad and am concerned about where the best place is for a single woman from UK, as I've tried to do research on rental accommodation within the region of 10000-15000 INR a month but would like it to be furnished and in a safe area. I will be working near Hitech city and would prefer not to travel too far from home/work. Any advice guys? Hi everyone, I'm going to Hyderabad for a week in October, and I would like to know a few things! What will the weather be like? I am usually cold in england so will it be cold in the evenings and warm in the day, or will it still be monsoon? Will i need a waterproof coat!! I am going to take a lot of photographs - are people ok to have their photo taken or do i need to ask them, if so should i pay and if so how much/ I am flying to dubai and on to hyderabad from there - when i am in dubai does anyone know what currency you can purchase things in, as obviously i wont have any dubai money or rupees? This sunday Holland is playing Spain in the WK Football and I am by myself in Hyderabad at that time. It is so much more fun to watch football witch other supporters. So, are there any Dutch or Spanish travelers or other people who are watching the game? Where is the best place to go the watch the game? I understood that all the bars close at 12pm. Hello, I would like to know about the condition of roads in AP. How feasible is it to travel by road from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, and from Vijayawada to Vizag? I read about the Hyderabad-Vijayawada road widening project a couple of years back, but has it actually been completed? What about the GQ part that passes through AP? While in India, I would like to try hyderabadi biryani. I might visit the city - yes, just for the Biryani. I heard Paradise restaurant there serves good Biryani, also Azizia. Hey VTers! A friend of mine is going to Hyderabad for a conference and I might as well accompany her (we plan to continue to Kerala later). I wouldn't like to sit in a hotel for a few days straight though. So, I'm wondering, would it be OK for me to walk the streets and discover the wonders of Hyderabad all by myself? Or will it be too much of a hassle? /I'm blonde, quite tall, can throw a punch and swear freely if needed :-D/ No offense, just trying to calculate the odds of survival here :) Birx
