I'm re-locating to Hyderabad on a 2 year contract

Hi everyone, I'm re-locating to Hyderabad and am concerned about where the best place is for a single woman from UK, as I've tried to do research on rental accommodation within the region of 10000-15000 INR a month but would like it to be furnished and in a safe area. I will be working near Hitech city and would prefer not to travel too far from home/work. Any advice guys? I've traveled around India before so I'm familiar with the country - as diverse as it is, I've not visited Hyderabad - so any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Hope to hear from you. Donna

Hi Donna - a great source of information are the expats. Check http://www.hytea.org/ - you can also google "hyderabad expats" for additional groups, but the link looks like the main group. They'll offer lots of advice on everything from places to live to dentists to where to get a good haircut! They also have get togethers, celebrate holidays, etc. Enjoy Hyderabad!

hello and welcome to Hyderabad, There are many service apartments around the hitech city area.and do mail me if you have any difficulties.we could meet up sometime.i live not too far from hitech city and could meet you at some place in between. hyderabad is a very friendly and interesting city. have fun while here.
