Just wondering if anyone knows of a nice Ma and Pa type B&B in St. John s that is resonably priced.
The prices of B&B's in Newfoundland seem related to the size of cities. So the city-area B&B's seemed to be all in the same ballpark when we visited last year. Here is the page from Newfoundland tourism pages with all the B&B's in the Avalon area (which includes St. John's): gov.nf.ca/tourism/mainmenu/w... We personally stayed in the Five Oaks B&B, but it is near Conception Bay some 20 minutes from downtown St. John's. We found most of the Maritime B&B's were Ma and Pa types.

THe bed perfect. http://www.rendellshea.com/ http://www.evertonhouse.com/ This one is top notch as well. Both have tips on my site. Jamie
