Fishing information from shore, any help much appreciated.

My wife and I wil be visiting the BEAUTIFUL island of ST CROIX in April. I am wondering if anyone has any "SHORE" fishing info that would help me. Such as type of fish, bait, spots to fish. We are staying at The Palms at Pelican Cove near Christiansted and will be renting a car. I already know I donot need a licence as I will be just catching and releasing the fish.
