pre book tour or book once in Sri Lanka?

by RedPenguin Online Now Feb 4, 2006 at 5:53 AM

We'll be off to Sri Lanka on a 10 day holiday in the begining of April. Considering to book a tour via www.theexoticsrilanka.com. Are they advertising reasonable prices? Has anyone booked through them before and what was your experience? Or is it cheaper to arrange a tour once in Sri Lanka? We are looking at a 5-7 day country-side tour with a beachbrake towards the end for a few days at a low-medium budget. Appreciate any advise that you can give us...

agree with all the above. as a reference: last year prices were about 120 US dollars for car and driver for 4 days - more if u would like it inclusive of meals and accommodation. best way to find it is at the airport... u dont even need to bargain that much as competition is very strong.

Ayubowan! I just come from Sri Lanka! I think, it is better to organise the tour with a guide and driver. I can give a good recommendation to our guide and driver Raja! You can send him an email, tell him, what do you want to see and he will organise the tour! He can give you also good advices for accomodation. Contact: rajatour10@hotmail.com Good luck for you! Gabi
