Hi everybody! have such a little annoying complication that seems to spoil my stay in croatia and therefore am turning to u all for some advice/help! am flying from the Czech rep.to Split on the 2d of september late in the evening(8 p.m.).I'll have to meet the group of people am staying with at Orebic ASAP(they go there by bus). i assume that there is no possibility to get to orebic so late in the evening and that i'll have to stay overnight in Split.now, the problem is i know nobody there and don't speak croatian. i would be very greatful if somebody would either give me some advice on some cheap student's hostel, or would be glad to go crazy partying with me on saturaday night:))(or maybe at least somebody has some reliable and nice people in split to spend the evening with) or maybe somebody would give me a piece of helpful advice on how to get to orebic on the late saturaday evening, if there is such a possibility) thanks a lot in advance, Kat
Hello, For finding out if there is a bus to Orebic from Split late in the evening (it is possible, we used longdistance buses very late in the evenings as well), contact Split Bus station (tel 060/327-777) or check the timetables from their pages ak-split.hr/EN/vozni.red/ind... There is always someone offering a private room for reasonable price at bus station when You arrive to city centre. ..Or You can leave Your luggage into the locker in bus station and just go straight to night life spots where You can find friendly locals to talk to (first to pubs situated stairway outside the Slavija Hotel in Palace area and later on to Bacvice Beach and nearby bays where discos are open until morning)
