We have been advised that we need to buy a cheap phone (20 euro with 5 euro of calls) rather than inserting a SIM card (as we had expected) into our phones we brought from Australia.Any advice would be appreciated, thankyou. Also how do I tell if I have an "unblocked" phone?.

I am currently planning to book my ticket from Barcelona to Madrid online. I have noted that I need to provid my passport number before I can proceed for my booking. However, my passport will be dued to expire on September and I will renew my passport during beginning of June. Can I still put my old passport number for making the booking? Whether it's possible to get a photo copy of my old passport and my new passport to show the driver when checking (as pasaport number will be changing when renewed so it will be different from what have stated online when booking).
I wonder if the picos is already really busy in early July ? I am interested in your opinions - thankyou Maurice
Im going to be staying in the village of La Torre Vella for July and August of 2015 and I was wondering if there are any regular bus services into the town of L'estartit?
With the notoriety of Barcelona, because of pickpockets, snatchings and scammers; what are the recent actions or measures done by the Barcelona Police Department particularly in the Las Ramblas?
I want to take the train from San Bernardo station. Does the airport bus stop at or near this station? I know it stops at Santa Justa but I want San Bernardo station. Thank you.

Hello I'm looking for a beautiful and reasonably easy road cycling route from Sitges and back. Ideally around 40/50km visiting a couple of vineyards and somewhere to have lunch - ideally at a vineyard. Any ideas very welcome. Thank you
Hi i have been looking at pictures on tripadvisor and noticed alot of the pictures there are people riding scooters along the prom, like a childs 2 wheel scooter with a seat but for adults not a mobility scooter if that makes sense, does anyone know where you can hire them, the restrictions and cost please. I have been looking on google but only getting mopeds and mobility scooters coming back so would appreciate your assistance :)
i am planing to rent while house hunting around almogia, how can i find out which bus goes to almogia from Malaga airprt?

In June 2015, I am on a cruise that's timed to be in Palma from 0900 to 1600. I am wondering if that would be sufficient time to ride the Soller train and tram? I would be thinking of one direction only.
My thoughts would be to get a taxi from the cruise terminal to the end of the tram line at Soller? Then take the tram and transfer to the train back to Palma. Or perhaps just ride the tram and take a (faster?) bus back?
Is that feasible in the time available? And with the summer tourist crowds? Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi, I would like yo hire a sailboat of somekind to hold 21 people for a day for my husbands 50th in august. Am struggling online to find anything for that amount of people - can anyone help please?

We are planning a 2 week trip to S.pain in 2016, hopefully mid September. Barcelona is on our list. How many days do you suggest for the highlights? Then we hoped to go to Bilboa, to use as a base for day trips . Any suggestions? We hope to to use the train system for our travels. However, after reading leics' reviews on Alhambra, this also sounds like a must see. Am afraid we are trying to cram to much into such a short time. Can you help us with a plan?
myself and my wife who uses a wheelchair are planning on salou next year and want to choose the right accomodation
so if anyone can help it would be appreciated. we would like to be close to a good choice of bars and not have to be in an area with hilly parts , were not beach users but would like to not be too far away from the fountains . we like a good karaoke bar an d eat out so good choice of restaurants nearby would be nice. even though were in our 50s we are young at heart and like lively areas as long as theres no out of control rowdyness . ideally wed like a hotel with ramped access and if possible ground floor acccomodation . also a good bar within the hotel would be nice . was thinking about Salauris palace but slightly concerned it may be a littyle out of the way and in a hilly area . sorry for being longwindd but all replies would be appreciated
My wife and I are booked into Hotel Isabel Avda. Moscu 2, 38670 Adeje, Tenerife, Spain
for a week next February. The hotel looks fine, but we were wondering about the surrounding area.
Are there any shops, bars etc.etc. near the hotel or are they all nearer the port ?
We don't want to be in the middle of the "Veronicas" type madness but we don't want to be out in the middle of nowhere having to taxi everywhere.
Any help would be most appreciated
Hi, I would like some feedback on my proposed solo hike. I would also appreciate some time estimates and just any feedback, really. If you've done any of these hikes, please comment what is not to miss and what could be missed (if anything).
Day 1: Poncebos-Refugio de Urriellu. 8km; probably take that funicular in the beginning so it's probably more like 5KM. 3-4hrs. Night shots of Urriellu.
Day 2: Urriellu to Refugio de Aliva to Sotres. Can I actually go up Urriellu? Would like a photo right as dawn cracks. 24km; 12hrs? I'm undecided whether this is too big of a hike. If I go direct to Sotres, it's 7.8km.
Day 3: Sotres to Tielve to Poncebos. 12km; 6hrs?
Basically, I need to start and end at Poncebos. I'm not sure if Day 2 and/or Day 3 are too big of hikes. If I do a shorter route and I'm done in 3-4 hours, what do I do with the rest of my day? I guess I should bring a book and a frisbee for alone/make friend time. On the other hand, I don't want to have seriously underestimated the time for Day 2 and be hating myself for hiking 16 hours. Perhaps if I want a big hike I could skip Aliva on Day 2 but instead of stopping at Sotres, go straight to Tielve to make for an easy Day 3. I'm pretty fit but this definitely will be a tax on my body. That's kind of what I want though.
Can I travel by train from Malaga airport to Malaga main bus station
I plan my diving trips' schedule till the end of the year and one of the destionations I would like to go is Canary Islands in mid-September. I have never been to Canary Islands before, so could anyone, who had already travelled to the Islands give few recommendations:
1) The island, which has most of must see dive sites not too far away.
2) The dive center, which has the best price/quality ratio on the island.
3) Dive sites for 5 days of diving that impressed you the most!
Acomodation's quality is not very important for me, so I can even stay in a hostel or camp.
P.S. Oh, any recommendadion as for non-diving activities for my wife will be appreciated :)
Which resort in Ibiza has department stores and which has local shops for fashion?
I and my family (mom, dad and my sister) are planning a trip to Costa Brava, Spain in early October 2015. We were thinking about renting a car and driving along the coast from Barcelona up to the French border, and back via Girona.
I heard that there are a lot of car rental services so we are lost and don't know which one to pick. Has anyone rented a car in this area, please advise which company is good?
When we drive along the coast, we prefer to stay in smaller towns as we are fond of nature and quiet destinations. For example we have selected such places as Roses, L'Escala and Blanes. But it's not yet decided, so we're open to suggestions of quiet places with beautiful nature and views (my dad's a landscape photographer).
We'd also like to scuba dive one or two times (I and my family have no prior scuba diving experience, but I am visiting Croatia in September with my friends and I expect to dive there). I figure that the water and air temperature in early October are still fine to sunbathe and dive?
Thank you all in advance for your suggestions and replies.
We only have 2 days in Mallorca. There are 2 couples celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. I chose a hotel in Deya (Hotel Es Moli) for our short stay. I'm having second thoughts and am wavering that we should have booked a hotel in Palma de Mallorca (Nixe Palace Hotel). Any input as to whether for this short stay this is the better choice???
Hi. Im going to palma end of May and wondered if there was much nightlife..Im staying in Old town palma and wondered if that is far from the Clubs/bars and restaurants ? Thanks
