Does someone know how much the taxi from Girona airport to Girona city centre will cost? I found one page saying it would be 22e. Our flight will arrive at 23.45, so we will miss the 23.30 bus. Or then we need to wait for the 00.30 bus. I don´t want to book anything, in case we might be late or even too early (it has happened with Ryanair sometimes!) The triip is in the end of August, so no hurry. Just curious..

Need information on options (taxi, bus, train) and costs of travelling from Barcelona Airport to HOTEL GRUP OTEL, Gran via 678. I will be managing 2 large suitcases and a portable wheelchair. My wife has mobility issues but can walk up a small number of steps and up to 50 meters at a time.

Excited to already be thinking about trips for next year!! We have been to Spain and Portugal many many times, so want to check out the northern regions, as those are new to us. Thinking of driving from Barcelona to Porto and back, so would like two unique routes. We would do this over a week or so, maybe next July. Our main interests are food , architecture and roman ruins for my husband. We have two little ones, so if someone could suggest a base for a day or so of day trips. Btw we are from Texas, driving 5 hours in one day for us is no big deal.

I would really appreciate some help. I would like to travel from La Colina get out at Malaga then get back on the train and travel to Malaga Maria Zambrano then return back to La Colina.
What should I do about buying my train tickets.
Last year I bought a train ticket to Malaga and got on and off a couple of stops before to explore but had difficulties with going in and out of ticket machines and strange looks from ticket inspectors. I was wondering if I should of bought different tickets possibly......?

Looking or a beautiful boutique hotel for me nd my mom but not even sure where we want to be. I know we don't want to be anywhere near loud partiers but we are not totally boring and like a drink, lively bar, shops etc.

We arrive in Calpe on Sun 26th May in the afternoon - are there any supermarkets likely to be open. Will the hypermarket in Benidorm be open at all.

I'm trying to find the lowest fares I can. I'd like to leave 6/7 from newark or JFK to Barcelona.
Then we want to return from Paris on 6/16.
I know that sometimes strange, odd, seemingly indirect routes can be much cheaper than the traditional flights, which right now are exhorbitant.

also - what can you tell me about train travel from barcelona to paris? or would it be better to fly?

I'm staying in Zaragoza for one day in July and the only thing I could find was an entire day trip. One bus leaves Zaragoza in the morning and returns in the evening. Is there anyway to go for a shorter amount of time? Is it possible to hire a driver or something like that?

My wife and I are considering spending 7 days in the Canary Islands in late June. We were considering Las Palmas on Gran Canaria. We prefer to keep away from touristy areas & as we are retired we are not looking for extravagant nightlife and discos. We prefer quieter pubs and good restaurants. Is Gran Canaria a good choice?

Hi) Me and my friend are planning the trip to Basque region in September and will stay in Mundaka for 5 nights before we'll move to Bilbao: she plans to join serfing courses, but I'm interested in walking. The point for me is Oma valley: caves, animated forest and birdwatching (despite it's not the best season for BW). But I can't find the easy way to get to Oma valley by public transport ( i don't drive and I don't bike). The bus takes too much as it makes a long rout. As I can see, there are several taxi companies in Bermeo, but there are no any tarifs or detailed information. Could you advise me with the shortest way by public transport or how much will take me taxi: f.e. to pick me up at Mundaka (Bermeo) to the entrance of Oma valley, and pick me up from this place back to Mundaka 4-5 hours later (I guess it's enough for walking to animated forest and for visiting caves). The same question about birdwatching. Thank you in advance, Lena.

I need to take Piracetam 1200 on a regular basis so I wanted to ask if it is possible to get it in Spain easily, I do not want to take all the medicine with me. Will I need to see a doctor or is it prescription-free ?

I will arrive at Barcelona airport, is there a pharmacy at the airport?

Hi, I am going tomorrow to Malgrat de Mar and wonder what is the best and cheaper way to travel from Barcelona Sants to Blanes. Are there family tickets? I am going with my wife and 2 children (15 and 7 years old).

Hey, I have planned the initial part of my trip to Spain. Will be landing in Barcelona and going by train to Alicante. I'm hoping that I'll have some scenic views on this train? I guess that's my first question

After Alicante, I want to take 10 days going around Spain. I'd like to go by road/above-ground-train to see as much of the landscape as possible. My main interests are food and music. I'll travel far to try different food, particularly special spices, plants, or dishes that are not easily available elsewhere. I want to spend more time away from city centers and explore different landscapes and sub-cultures within Spain.

I am planning to drive from Madrid to Roses in August but getting a bit nervous about it. Any ideas about a relatively inexpensive alternative? Or should I just feel the fear and do it anyway?
