Need Tahoe/Reno Hostel Info

We are two couples wanting to ski in Tahoe area and I found a couple hostels but cannot find much info on them. Any one have knowledge of Lone Pine Hostel at 864 Stateline Ave. in S. Lake Tahoe or, Wildflower Village in downtown Reno? Any info would help me decide if it is safe to reserve at either place. Thanks in advance.
