How English friendly is the Seoul Korea Incheon airport ? My destination is Thailand, but I really would feel better if there's no stress or anxiety in getting off the plane to find my next plane or terminal that takes me to Thailand.

How to go gangwon-do from Mount sorak?
Hi, How would I get to Jinbu for the Pyeongchang Trout festival from Suwon?
I am planning a trip to Jeju in March, most likely getting a taxi to bring us around (heard that it is KRW 180,000 for 9 hours per day). We are a group of 5 and was wondering if there are any activities/places of interest that would not be available during March (water sports, jet boat ride, submarine, light hiking on Mt Halla, etc). Appreciate if anyone can advise me on that.
Also, would a 3D2N trip be enough or should i think of making it a 4D3N trip?
Here are the places that I would like to cover. Please feel free to suggest any other places of interests/activities that you feel that I should visit! how is Jeju Folk Village Museum and Yongduam? should I include them?
- Teddy Bear Museum
- Manjanggul Cave
- Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak
- Gimnyeong Maze Park
- Submarine ride
- jet boat ride
- Women diver show
- Seonimgyo Bridge
- Alive museum
Thanks in advance!

My hubby and I are going to have a couple days lay over in Seoul on the New Year's Eve and a New a Year Day. We already got a hotel in Myeongdong. What are the must to see or do during that time of the year there? We are not a night butterflies but love the culture and food. How much money should we take for food, transportations and some shopping? Our flight from Bangkok will landing at ICN around 9ish on December 31. We are planning to take a bus. How long is it going to take us to our hotel, Ibis? Last but not least, should we rent a gps or wifi handle from the airport too? Any suggestions would be great appreciations!! Thanks. Watch out Seoul!
Hi, Im starting to plan a trip to S.Korea, ill be going around may of next year.
Im planing on staying there for about one month, and traveling around from city to city.
I was wondering, if there is places you guys could recommend going.
also how are Koreans against foreigner, are they helpful if you ask for directions?
also related to the last sentence how are they towards somewhat middle-eastern looking people?
is it expensive in Korea? living, food.
And main means of transportation, buses? trains? do you have to have a pass?
I have been training muay thai for one year and judo for about six months,
are there gyms that will let you train for only three or two weeks?
I'm traveling to Anyang in a week with my partner who is on business. I'm struggling to find anything on the web about the area as the advice is conflicting (and in Korean)
Any advice about things to do other than the art park that looks amazing would be great. I'm really interested in local gyms or pools as the hotel we are staying at doesn't have one.....
Also any top tips about traveling about and places to visit (as I'll be on my own for a lot of the time) would be great.

Hi everyone! I just created a VT Meet event in Seoul on Oct 16, 2013. Reposting it here hoping that more people will see it:
Hi Everyone! I am going to South Korea for the first time and would love to meet fellow VTers. I will also be celebrating my birthday on Oct 16, first time to be away from family and friends. I thought it would be nice to celebrate my birthday with new VT friends. Any suggestions about the venue will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
Hope to see you!
Can you suggest a reasonably priced galbi place suitable for a family in Sokcho or nearby?
Hi, I will be travelling to busan on 14 Oct 2013 and require A car + driver to drive me around. Can someone suggest me any name or car rental name with reasonable price. Thank you
I'm intending to travel to South Korea on the above mentioned dates.
The initial itinerary is to arrive at Gimpo airport, take a domestic flight to Jeju, stay there for 2 nights. I've got a few enquiries on Jeju:
a) I've never been to Jeju before, so am wondering if it's worth going there during this period. If yes, what are the recommended attractions I can visit? I would like to head to the Teddy bear museum, but understand that Seoul also has one.
b) Am also asking if it's feasible to visit those national parks and caves in Dec (understand that it's going to be very cold) and not sure when the opening hours are.
c) Would it be feasible to drive around Jeju during winter time? I've heard horror stories that the roads can be slippery and vehicles might skid if not careful enough
After Jeju, we'll head back to Seoul, and spend the remaining days there. Would like to find out if there are any recommended attractions in Seoul? My friend and I are ok with shopping, chilling out at cafes, heading to theme parks, do a little culture touring, as well as sight-seeing. Since it's going to be cold (and I understand that the day will be short as well), are there any nice places to hang out when the sky turns dark? Or would it be too cold to walk on the streets?
Other than Seoul, where else can we explore?
Thanks in advance!

Hi! I'm trying to find a 3D/2N tour package to Soeraksan from Seoul between 14-19 October but was advised by a tour company, based in Seoul, I contacted, that all 'private tours' have been booked by families who don't wish outsiders to join them, while a 2D/1N SIC (Sit In Coach) package is not available for one person.
However, I found a 'New" Mt Seorak 2-day tour from Seoul advertised by Viator: viator.com/tours/Seoul/2-Day...
Does anyone have any experience booking tours anywhere with this company? Appreciate your kind advice..
I was looking through some ski tours and noticed that they can generally be divided into two types.
The difference is the ski pass with the more expensive tour including ski passes.
What exactly is the ski pass for? Can we ski without using it?
PS. My first time skiing.
Thanks in advance.
