Anybody been there? I spend time on Grand Turk, but I have interest in North Caicos and South Caicos, and any other low-population islands in the Turks and Caicos chain. I would like advice on how to travel within the islands, preferably by boat, I don't like Sky King airline much. Also, any information regarding accomodations, bars and restaurants, real estate opportunities, beach and water conditions, etc. What a sleeping beauty these little islands are, like something lost in time and waiting to be discovered! I don't know of any other places in the Caribbean that are so undiscovered. Sure would like to hear from others who have gone before me. Thanks for any info, M. K.
We've been to TCI four times. We traveled with Big Blue Unlimited by boat and car to North and Middle Caicos. It is really beautiful in Middle Caicos. Go to Mudjen Beach. It is one of the prettiest beaches I have ever seen. And further down is Bambarra, also vast and beautiful. Not been to South Caicos but went with Big Blue to Salt Cay and Big Sand Cay. If you go to Salt Cay, look up Ollie Bean at Salt Cay Divers. He knows every piece of water in TCI. Also, West Caicos is really nice. The wall is out that way and it is pretty amazing to see.
