Hello all. I'm heading out to Sousse with my boyfriend for new year, staying at the Tej Marhaba (which I note caused something of a discussion on the 'Hotels in Sousse' posting!). We're flying out on the 31st Dec - got an amazingly cheap deal - and I'm just wondering what to expect in terms of weather, how busy or not the place will be, etc? We weren't really intending on doing too much, but what do you think we should make a point of seeing/doing while there? Shall I take my umbrella and woolly jumper, or will there be a possibility of my bikini making an appearance?! Thanks!
I'd say it will be mild but a jumper will be needed. I've only been there April through August, but know people that go around Christmas time. It's likely to be chilly. Don't think you'll need a bikini, but stranger things have happened.....better to be looking at it than for it!! I'd say it'll be quiet enough this time of year. The earliest I've been is April, and it was very quiet then, not crowded like the summer months. Tunisia and Tunisian's are lovely
