Valentines day in Sorrento

My partner and I are staying in Sorrento for Valentines day. I have been to Sorrento twice before but never in February. Can anyone tell me what to expect at that time of the year, I seem to remember reading somewhwere that there is some kind of local festival that takes place on Valentines day. Also, is it still a good time to visit Pompeii, Positano, Ravello, Amalfi and Capri? I can't wait to go but would like to have more idea of what to expect.
