We are a group of 6 coming over from UK to visit Sopot this weekend for a stag/bachelor party as one of our group is getting married. Just looking for some advice on where are the best bars/clubs to party in? (Just like to point out that even tho it is a Stag/Bachelor party, we are a respectful, friendly group & certainly not the type to create or look for trouble, etc. We're just looking to have some fun, laughs & a good time)
Any advice & recommendations on bars/clubs etc, where we could go that are friendly fun & safe.
Any other advice such as drink prices & Dress codes would be greatly appreciated.
We are a family of 5 that will go by car from Gdynia-Sassnitz. When we arrive in Gdynia we intend to stay in Sopot for 2 nights, but we are not sure... Since we have 3 kids age 8-12 we need to have some beach life as well so it looked like a good idea to stay in Sopot =) But is it just a party place?
We would also like to stay in an apartment or a camp site that offers bungalows to fit us all, but I can´t find any. A hotel is also an option but then we have to take 2 rooms.
We will take the ferry from Sassnitz back to Sweden and we need another night somewhere along the way. However I do not know any good place to stay where it´s some activity or nice beach town? Any ideas on what to do on the way?
We were thinking of 3 nights along the way Gdansk-Sassnitz or at the most 4 nights...
I am coming to Poland from the UK for 5 nights in August? I Was hoping to go to Sopot and Gdansk, is it best to stay at one of them and just go to the other for the day or have say 2 nights in Sopot and 3 in Gdansk? If I went to Sopot first, how would I get there from the airport? taxi? if so how much roughly would it cost from Gdansk airport to Sopot? Are hotels much more expensive in Sopot than in Gdansk?
Hi the experts,
I will visit Sopot this Saturday. Could someone tell me how to travel from Gdansk's airport to Sopot?
Is it easy to find the train station in airport?
Thanks for advance!
As I have a week off in early September I am thinking of having a 6-day trip to Sopot. My questions: is it necessary to book accommodation beforehand or can I just arrive and look for a place to stay? I am on my own and open for any kind of reasonably priced room, being in a hotel, guest hose, holiday apartment, etc. What would be the easiest way to find a room? What are average single room rates at this time of the year? Any recommendations? Thanks for any advice.

Hello all! I am visiting Sopot for a few days and have some questions for you:
1) I booked my hotel at Miramar Hotel. It was next to the Aquapark and I love to walk. Is this an ok hotel? Has anyone here ever seen it? Is the walk from this hotel to Monte Cassino area safe? The other hotel I was considering was Hotel Opera.
2) Is Malbork nearby? I would like to visit Malbork by public transportation. From my hotel, how long would it take to walk to the train station? Also, how long is the trip from Sopot to Malbork?
Being a holiday resort, is it possible to find a longer term nice house for renting.
