Coming to stay in Someren in May. Flying into Amsterdam. Would you recommend a short flight to Eindhoven from Amsterdam or take the train? Please keep in mind that I am old and crochety (lol).
There is a direct train from Schiphol Airport to Eindhoven every half hour, and the train takes 1h29m. If you don't mind changing trains in Utrecht you even have a train every 15 minutes. See www.ns.nl No surprise then that there are no flights from Amsterdam to Eindhoven. You can plan the whole trip from Schiphol Airport to Someren here: http://www.9292ov.nl (From Eindhoven you'll need to take a bus).

There are no national flights from Schiphol to Eindhoven. Eindhoven is just a cheaper filed for lost cost carriers that to mostly other smaller European fields. As said; just take the train from Schiphol. More at our VT Schiphol page: Schiphol Travel Guide PJ

indeed best option is the train straight to eindhoven then take a bus to eindhoven i dont know where you have to be at someren so i cant tell you which bus to take but you can find it on: http://www.9292ov.nl/ then choose eindhoven station to:....someren i think you have to take a bus to helmond first and then to someren good luck
