I'm going to Mexico from El Paso. But I don't know how to get to central caminoera. Please let me know if you have information.
We had previously a very bad experience at the Fort Collins Lakeside KOA campground. The owner has a violent temper, and he had been verbally abusive to my wife. Please recommend alternatives for family-friendly monthly RV sites.
I was wondering if there was a website that anyone knows bout that gives information about annual events/ celebrations around the world. For Example the Carnivales in Brazil And Trinidad and also the one they have in Miami in october for the carribean also at the moment Miami, Florida has Art Basel going on. It doesnt neccesarily have to be celebrations such as those above but differnet events that would catch the attention of tourists and poeple who like to travel but cant decide where. I would like to know of different events happening around the world that would make the experience much more memorable.Thank you
I will be staying in Memphis and wanted to go to Tunica Casino area for a few days. I understand that there is no shuttle or rental car agency in Tunica, so is there a rental car agency near Springhill Suites Marriott where I will be staying? Any suggestions on transportation? Thanks, Sheldon
where can I get a list of the stores that are located in a courtyard like setup in Tarpon Springs. There's a shop that sells all Jimmy Buffet shirts, a Life is Good shop, clothing boutiques etc. I can't think of the name of the shopping area (the entrance is across from the sponge docks . I have been mostly finding the single stores that are right on Dodocanese ... this sits back and you kind of go through and archway
In regards of crime and traffic during the rush hours, mainly.
My Fiance and I are going to Breckenridge this Decemeber and we arent snow skiing but we are tubing, ziplinning and doing the rollercoaster and much more. What do you think would be the proper appereal to wear walking around or during our activites?
I'm looking for advice as to whether to stay near Kailua-Kona or if I want to go north a bit to Waikoloa instead of Kailua-Kona. Wiakoloa was only recommended Nov-Dec in the Lonely Planet guide and I have no idea why. It seems like Waikoloa has more white sand beach/resorts in that area, so it seemed nice.
I'm planning on going a week in either June, July, or August. And spending 4 days on NW side Kona area, and 4 days in SE Hilo area near Volcano or Pohoa near the shore. Last trip to Hawaii, my family went to Maui and we really liked the Kaanapali area. But we didn't like Kihei as it was hotter. My family members are unfortunately allergic to the sun (not kidding) and broke out in bad skin rashes in Kihei from the heat. So I'm trying to find a spot that is beautiful, hopefully ocean views, but where heat won't be a problem.
Any advice you can give is great. At least Volcano, HI should be cool because of the elevation!
The first thing I would like to say is Gob Bless New Orleans and its inhabitants.
You know when there was the Hurricane Katrina in 2005 , i was young, i was ten , and at that time from the French TV, I could only see , what French TV wanted us to know. Then as the years went by, I got more and more interested in that city. And what I can say today is that i've fallen in love with it . I'm 19 now, and i'm writting an essay on it . And believe me i love this amazing New Orleans, i feel like i need to go there , i must go there like something is calling me.
So can you advise me some places to visit ? I would like to go to Congo Square and join some Festivals.
What must I not miss ?
recv'd two responses, but one did not know if we could walk to the restaurant suggested. Need more responses. No bar is fine. Need to be near water and have a nice view. very casual. moderate pricing, but good, trustworthy food!!
does anyone know about the "island shuttle"? where to get it? cost? ANY info on the above would be SO appreciated!
Pls offer suggestions on a nice, water-view restaurant within walking distance of the Holiday Inn. VERY moderate prices==we're not drinkers, so bar not necessary!
anything else to walk to and see? any antique shops/consignment shops? any little shop streets we can walk to? is the museum worth seeing?
We are interested in going to Solomons Island for the weekend soon and are interested in places to stay. We plan to visit the famous Tiki Bar and would like to have something nearby. The only accomodations I can see in the general area is a B&B and it is booked for all of the upcoming weekends. Any recommendations? Any ideas? Any places we definitely should stay away from?
