Greetings to all. In 2001 I visited Sogndal on the way to Balestrand and spent several hours walking around town. I noticed a statue or monument ( I cannot remember exactly which ) commemorating a famous Norwegian Rifle Marksman. I would like to learn more about this man. Can anyone tell me more about this, name picture etc. Thanks
The first name I think of is Lars L. Ese, but his monument is in Balestrand: flickr.com/photos/fjordblick... Apart from being a rifle marksman, I don't now anything about him.
