My friends and I are travelling to Sofia this year, and I was just wondering if anybody knows what the general dress code is for a night out? Are there strict "no shorts or trainers" policies or can you wear what you want as long as you look smart enough? Only we're doing quite a lot of travelling and want to limit how much excess clothing I take. If anybody could help I would be most appreciative.
You don't have to worry about clothing. Well,maybe in shorts and flip-floppers would not be the best clothing for a good bar but I'm almost sure that even dressed like this you won't have any problems. So jeans,up to knee pants,trainers,sneakers,sandals,shoes would be fine. Maybe the only thing that is not good accepted is a track suit(and of course it is for doing sport)

Friday and Saturday for sure it is more crowded and parties are bigger. So for me - weekends :))
