I don't know but I hope you have looked into the legal situation. While I don't know BG law, it should be similar to that of other EU countries, where legal purchase of any car (new or second-hand) requires proof of residency in BG, so that the vehicle can be registered there (apart from hire cars, nationality of vehicle registration should be the same as the country of residence of the owner). In any case, you had better find out how to get insurance as a non-resident, as it would be illegal to drive without it.
