      Reasonably priced accommodation in Sydney

      Sydney May 18, 2013 at 3:05 PM

I am in the UK and hoping to visit Sydney in March 2014 for a month. What is the best way to book reasonably priced accommodation for this amount of time? I would be wanting at most a small apartment or at very least a bedroom with ensuite for just one person. I have seen sites with rooms in houses but with shared bathrooms which does not appeal to me.
This may sound daft but do I need a visa if I am just visiting for a month on holiday?
      Thanks for any advice
      Tamara

Hi, I am planning to go to London in August this year. This will be my first flight to London and I have never done such a long fligth before. Could you please suggest a good airline interms of good service, leg space, food and reasonable price? I prefer one stopover. I am looking at a few options i.e. Etihad, Cathay, British, Emirates. Please share your experience to help me decide which airline to fly.
      Thanks heaps in advance.

by spete Online Now Jul 14, 2008 at 7:32 PM

Hello! I would like to find out if it does snow in any of the towns in the snowy mountains besides thredbo and perisher blue. I am wondering if towns like Cooma, Adaminaby, Jindabyne and Berridale get snow as I am trying to get an accomodation that has snow in early to mid August. I've read bout winter tyres in Australia so do i still to carry snow chains with me? Thank you.

    • Planing a trip from SYD to BNE in mid August

by VPB Online Now Jul 9, 2008 at 9:41 AM

We'll planning a 12 day trip with our 4.5yr old son startin fr SYD to see snow and ending in BNE for some milder weather in Queensland. Do we have to get up to the ski fields in the snowy mountains to see and play with snow?(we don't ski) Will there be snow in towns like jindabyne or cooma during mid Aug? What's the temp range during that time? Besides driving, are there trains or coaches to these areas from SYD and from SYD to BNE as we plan to only pick up a car in BNE. And any suggestion on where we sh head to from BNE after picking up our car. Any suggestion on a modern, new or newly renovated self-contained studio or 1 bedrm apt in nice area that we can relax in for 2-3 days? what are the places we can go for some fun for young kids? Are there any nice farmstays in Queensland? Thanks!
