Hi! I am going to Zagrep this Monday... How many days do ı need to be able to visit Zagrep and also go down to Split&Zadar...is it possible to take ferry from Split to Rijeka? then I'll take tren from Rijeka to Ljubljana.by the way I have limited time in Croatia...so maybe if bus would be faster I should choose this way? are there any suggestions for a place to stay in Zagrep and Zadar? and in which currency would be easier&convenient in both Croatia&Slovenia, usd or euro? thank you for your forward help.:) Read more: World Travel Forum
The official legal currency of Slovenia is the euro, so that is what you should use. Croatia uses the kuna. It would make sense to take euro to exchange because you will need euro for Slovenia, although most people now use ATMs to get cash when they travel rather than exchange cash. Here's the timetable etc for the Split>Rijeka ferry, in English: viamare.com/jadrolinija-rije... I can't help with your other questions but I'm sure other VT-ers will soon reply.
