Is it easy for my sister and i , at the end of may 2012 to get a bus from the airport to koukounaries?. we are staying there for one night, then we need bus to Nostos village.. can anyone direct us in this request please

I have not been to Skiathos but.... You can find the timetable of the Skiathos town>Koukounaries bus here: skiathos.gr/index.php?option... I cannot find a bus from the airport. You may need a taxi, but it is very close to Skiathos town. A VT tip here: Skiathos Island Transportation tells me that stop 12 on that route serves Nostos.

There is no bus from Skiathos airport. You can walk in about 20-30 min to Skiathos town bus station where there are buses to Koukounaries about every 20 min. However this bus does get packed at peak hours as it goes to all the beach areas. The Koukounaries bus stops are from #22 to #26 accommodation strung out along about a mile. So a taxi is the easiest from the airport, should be about 20-25 Euros to Koukounaries. The Nostos is a bit off the bus route, so again a taxi would be easiest. If you use the bus it's stop #12. Right from the bus stop, tarmac road, about 500 yds/m. You should see it up the hillside in front. Why do people who have never been there answer questions ? and direct them elsewhere, weird. Some of us have stayed on Skiathos many times.....

Members help as much as they can when they can. Much better than new members waiting for weeks in the hope that someone who has been somewhere will see their post
