As far as I can see from
there are only two Haven resorts in Lincolnshire: Golden Sands at Mablethorpe and Thorpe Park at Cleethorpes.
Neither is in Skegness, obviously., but Mablethorpe is a lot nearer than Cleethorpes. Maybe 40 minutes' drive?

Leics is correct. Golden Sands in Mablethorpe is closer to Skeggie than Thorpe Park in Cleethorpes - Cleethorpes is about a one hour's drive from Skeggie. The Mablethorpe camp will most likely be fronting directly on to the North Sea whereas Thorpe Park is right on the mouth of the River Humber and the beach down at that end of town is reverting to marshland - excellent for migrating seabirds but not ideal for a beach holiday. However, Thorpe Park is a pleasant forty minute seafront walk away from Cleethorpes Town centre. (Incidentally, as a student during the summer holidays I used to work behind the bar at the holiday camp which is now Thorpe Park - "Humberston Fitties".)
