hi, i will be on holiday in Sitges for 1 week in july as part of group of 9. we hope to spend 1 day at port aventura theme park travelling to/from Sitges using train or bus. I have tried to find the easiest way to do this but there doesn't seem to be one! The train timetables seem complex with few trains per day and numerous changes involved. We would hope to leave Sitges quite early and return in the evening. Any advice would be welcome from anyone who has done this trip or is more familiar with the local transport systems.

How do I get from sitges station to Antemare hotel and what is the best means of travel to the hotel. I hear its just 15 minutes walk. Could i have exact directions or a map to help me find it.

Could anyone tell me when Xató Route season is?

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get a train from Sitges to Tarragona. I have looked on the RENFE website but there only appears to be one train in the morning at around 7am and one in the evening at 7pm? I have looked on other forums and they suggest that a change at Sant Vicenc de Calders and then on to Tarragona is the way but even then the train times seems to be the same? I would be most grateful for some assistance on this point. The other point is that I hope to make this journey on 4th June this year and understand that this is a public holiday this year! Help would be appreciated. Many thanks

My husband and I are looking to spend some time in sitges from early to mid June. We would like to book one of the apartments above casa hidalgo on sant pau. The only concern we have is noise- as it is clear from the photos that the building is right beside 'Ricky's'- and internet searches on that indicate that Ricky's is quite the happening spot. We will definitely be going out- but also looking to sleep when we come home! Will this be a problem with staying here?

Hi We've booked to stay in Sitges from 21 July 07 for 2 weeks. 6 adults and 4 kids. We're thinking about hiring a couple of cars to be picked up from the airport upon our arrival. How easy is it driving from the Airport to Sitges? We're stopping in a large villa in the hills so feel a car will be an advantage although it does say a 5 minute walk to the beach but a 20 minute walk back! How easy is it to park in the town?? How busy is it going to be in July. We're not talking Bournemouth on a hot weekend in July are we??? Thanks in advance Janet

Hi I am going to Sitges first week in June to stay with a friend she does not get round very well, so I will be doing alot on my own, how easy is it to get to Barcelona and how long does it take, what is there to do in Sitges? Is there a beach there and whats it like? What will the temperature be like in June both during the day and at night?? Any hints would be helpful as my spanish is not very good. me and a mate are going to sitges in end of july 06, and were wondering if the maricel hostel is cheap for any particular reason? it looks pretty central so we're worried it's going to be horrendously noisy or unsafe, has anyone stayed there?

We are thinking of coming to Sitges in August, for a week - the whole family including gparents and children. We are looking at something in Vallpineda area. I can't find a local map to see where this is in relation to other things. Do we need a car to get to the beach etc???
