Buon giorno! I and my husband will stay in Noto in September (for one week). Advice me, please, how we can go to Palermo for one day: in the morning - there, in the evening - back. How many it will cost? Grazie!
Hmmmn, look at www.trenitalia.com . You will see that the trip by train is at least 6 hours each way, with at least two connections. Noto is on the other side of Sicily from Palermo, and the connections aren't good...so a day trip by train won't work... I read that often bus service is better in Sicily than rail (the opposite is true in the rest of Italy)...you might look at slowtalk.com/eve/ubb.x/a/tpc... for a listing of bus companies that operate in Sicily, and see if you can get a better arrangment that way...
