Stefan, You might find the following web site helpful. thinksicily.com/guide-to-sic...

Have you checked out the Archeological Museum? It's in a park-like setting.

You may get more answers if you repost in English. Many of us travel to Sicily but we don't all speak Italian. Just a thought. Good luck.

    Enjoy Sicily.

    Be', e' un bel problema...

- gazzettadisicilia.it/sicilia...
Bravo - forse UN parco, eh?

    Bill

    Hi Stefan,

    Welcome to Sicily!

The park in Piazza Aldo Moro has a children's play area with lots of children and families there when we walked by last week.

There is a Giardino Pubblico at the top of Corso Umberto in Siracusa and a children's play area outside the Catacombe di San Giovanni. If I think of any others which are central to the town I will post again.

Apart from these, children play in Piazza Duomo in Ortigia and on the passeggiata along the Porto Grande di Siracusa.

I think there may be another children's play area in a park adjacent to Porto Piccolo di Siracusa. I'll check this out for you and repost.

It would be helpful if you could tell us where you are staying in Siracusa?

Noto which is about half an hour from Siracusa has a very nice Giardino Pubblico and Taormina which is a good hour away has a beautiful Giardino Pubblico.

Happy to provide any other information.

    Enjoy your stay!

    Lia

There is the promenade and beach at Lido di Noto. The same at Marina di Ragusa. I am sure there will be lots of opportunity for interactive play with other little ones.

The weather is bucking up after a windy week and yesterday heralded the arrival of the first swift and swallow from (probably) Africa - spring has sprung!

This is a link to the most accurate (imo) weather website, if you are interested -

    Have fun!
