What are your thoughts on visiting Siofok in October, 19 to 23rd? I know Siofok is a nice place, even though i've never been there before, but will there be anything to do? As it seems that this place is only buzzing in the summer...
You will be ble to see the fall colors around you. Besides that the area is very quiet this time of the year.

Hi My guess is that it's dead out of season. We were there in early April, and it was like a ghost town, so if it's like that in spring, I imagine that it's similar in autumn. The upside is that you'd pretty well have the place to yourself. However, we found that the transport scaled right back outside of peak season, so whilst it was easy to get there from Budapest by train, it was pretty hard to find buses and ferries running regularly once we were at the lake - not a problem if you have your own transport, but a nuisance otherwise.
