Maybe anybody knows: what does it cost to go to Monastery dos Capuchos from Sintra centre (including 30-40 min waiting and return) ?
Hi Savl, I read that a taxi from Sintra Visitor Centre would cost approximately 18 Euros (including waiting time while you visit.) Apparently that's the best way to get to the Convento. Also found a Portuguese site on public transport from Sintra that should get you close to the Convento but the site had a warning that there's NO bus service presently available... you should check at Tourist Office in Sintra, in case the site was not up-to-date. Sintra One-Day Ticket is about 7 Euros. Single ticket 3 Euros.
