hello there, im travelling to st barths and transitting by st martin. im wondering how to get to the ferry port from SXM st martin airport and how far would it take to get there. thank you

I haven't done it either but I have seen the ferry docks in Marigot, and I agree that you will probably have to take a cab - will be about half a hours ride and probably about25.00. But the cabs I've seen there do not have meters and just charge a flat rate for rides between various places.

There are buses but I'm not sure if they go from the airport to the port Taxis are not metered; the government sets rates, which are based on carrying two passengers. A fee may be added for additional passengers. From Princess Juliana International Airport, rates are20 to Marigot;18 to Philipsburg.
