I will have a 12 hour transit stop at Changi - can I purchase alcohol duty free to take onboard my connecting flight - or would it be confiscated as it is over the 10ml liquids limit
yes u can as long as u are not coming in from Malaysia. They will put them in a sealed bag. But the limits are as follows: 1-litre of spirits, 1-litre of wines and 1-litre of beer; or 2-litres of wines and 1-litre of beer; or 1-litre of wines and 2-litres of beer Btw, if u have 12 hr transit depending on your arrival time u can leave the airport and enjoy a bit of Singapore..

Yes you can as long as you do not have another connecting flight after that where this might be a problem. But if you get it in a sealed bag then you should be just fine.

Buy it before boarding they will have it sealed just show your passport and boarding pass. As long as you are at the same terminal it is allowed. I bought a bottle of vodka coming from a connecting flight then out of SG there was no problem.
