try the online property portal propertyguru.com.sg propertyguru.com.sg/singapor... Narrow down the serach to her budget and preferred location. The more central the area the more expensive rental it will command. Singapore is a small country. Maybe she should widen her search outside the central or preferred area. Public transportation here is very good.

She can try expat forums for help too. I also suggest she browses through Straits Times real estate section. She can search for certain location or islandwide.

It can be quite a challenge to find such but having an agent is usually the way to go. Check these out:

Classified Ads (usually posted by agents):
singapore.gumtree.sg/f-Apart...
It is advisable to have an agent so he/she can process all requirements and negotiations on your behalf. Good luck!
