We're going to singapore in a few weeks and i heard it's really warm there now..can we wear shorts and tank tops (or sleeveless blouse)? Is there a rule in singapore what you can and can't wear while your in their country? We'll be going to Universal and Sentosa.
That clothing will be no problem in Singapore. Just be aware that the air conditioning is often very cold so you may need a light jacket or something for when you're indoors.

Singapore is a very modern country. You can wear any kind of clothes. However as mentioned earlier it will be good to carry a light jacket which might come in handy while in trains and malls which have air conditioning. You should also carry a hat/umbrella. Have a good trip,

Agree that you can wear any type of clothing- but if you intend to visit any temples, mosques or other religious places, shoulders will need to be covered, and knees, and a headscarf is needed to cover the head for ladies.

No rules on clothing but bring enough as it's very hot and humid so every time i return to the hotel it's shower time, up to 5 times day

International city, wear what you like, it remains the same temperature year round, you will be right in shorts and blouse. Just take something better if visiting a high class restaurant at night.

You can wear anything in Universal Studio and while in Sentosa. There is no dress code. Proper footwear would be advisable if you are going to do alot of walking in Universal Studio and Sentosa.

I would just add that my teenage daughters were harrassed a little by men when wearing singlet tops and short shorts when walking around the streets of singapore. I wouldn't think Sentosa and Universal would be a problem because they are tourist areas.
