Hi! I will visit Singapore in July and plan to spend some time there and participate in the Food Festival which I have heard so many nice things about. But I would also like to visit some of the nearby countries, such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodscha. I won't be able to visit all, but would like to have some kind of package deal for visiting some of the regions highlights. I will be travelling alone or maybe with one more person. Can any of you recommend a travel agent or a good place to buy packaged deals for travelling in the region? Regards Chris
Hi, We recently came back from Vietnam recently. A freind recommended a travel agent in Vietnam which we used. By booking everything with them, we saved over 60% of the cost if we booked the same from here in Australia. They were super efficient and very helpful, even gave us a present when we arrived. The details are as follows.. TNK Travel Ho Chi Min City.....Email...vietnamtnktravel@hcm.vnn.vn The lady we dealed with was Lu Luv. There are plenty of regional tour agents, have a look at www.exotissimo.com/ www.gadventures.com/ www.intrepidtravel.com/ These are fairly large tour operators.

And, in MY there is Reliance.. Though I think you can pick your locations, with a little bit of research, and DIY with AirAsia flights.. Especially since you might not enjoy the company offered by a package tour from Asia! ;-) BTW if you are travelling alone, you will have to pay single supplement for hotels, at least for bookings made from Malaysia..

Thank you everybody for your tips! I now have the struggle of choosing between all the attractions :) If you or anybody else would care to tell me about your most treasured experiences or sights/areas of Asia - I would very much appreciate it! I like to enjoy every type of travelling theme varying my focus from time to time - such as nature, people, beaches, cultural sites, local food, hiking, animals, big cities, and more. Chris
