Can we anyone give me an idea of the cost for a taxi from Raffles the Plaza to the airport at JB and also how long it takes to get there??. Thanks
I believe very few Singaporeans would know this answer... I am guessing you could take a taxi there but it might guess alot50 or more, time is 1hr - 2hrs depending on traffic, if it is peak time from 8 - 9am and 5 - 7pm at night, it takes longer. Taking the bus would be easier, but I am not sure where to take the bus... sorry

Hi there, It's true. It will cost a bomb to take a taxi to the airport in Senai, JB. And some taxis don't go all the way there - they stop at the Causeway checkpoint and you'd need to take a local taxi. check out this site http://www.airasia.com. They'll tell you how to get to Senai Airport from Singapore. It's cheaper to take the coach and more convenient too from your hotel.

Good news! This just got in yesterday. You can now take a coach to downtown JB from Singapore and head to the City Lounge. There's a free shuttle service operating from the City Lounge in downtown JB that will take you directly to Senai Airport.

Thanks for your help everyone, we still would rather take a taxi as there are 3 adults and luggage, if anyone knows of a reliable taxi firm that would be able to take us directly to the airport at JB from Singapore we would very much appreciate any information. Thanks again for your help

Hi, All the Taxis are safe and reliable in Singapore... have never seen an illegal taxi before. But one thing, you have to discuss with the driver if he will drive you across the causeway all the way into Senai. Cost would be about40++ SGD. Good luck!! :) Paul Singapore

There was a free bus shuttle from Malaysian airlines leaving from a hotel (just don't remember the name) in Singapore to JB airport. You could check in right at that hotel and your luggage was taken care of. If you're flying that airline contact their office in Singpore and ask.
