HI Guys :) is Kazantip in Simferopol ? any suggestions for hotels etc? i'm going there in August for 2 weeks .. is it long time 2 weeks ? thanks a lot any info would be appreciated
Kazantip is not in Simferopol but in 200-250 from the city to the East. It is located on the shore of Sea of Azov, near of Schelkino village. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazant... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazant... though I heard there were several places where Kazantip took place, maybe the official site helps: kazantip-republic.com/#/abou... I never didn't take part in the festival but some of my friends did. They hadn't any problems with "where to stay at"

a little correction I checked the auto map and it is 178 km of road distance between Simferopol and Schelkino village. that means 2,5-3 hours by car approximately

as i've said i didn't take part but my friends said to me that they felt absolutely safe there (it seems the festival has a sort of security system)...

just found out that last years the festivity takes place in Evpatoria area, WEST of Simferopol'. Sorry! :-) But i hope you'll find the place in any way :-)
