Hi, how many days does one need for the first time to Cambodia/Siam Reap. The idea is going directly from Bangkok to Siam Reap to get to know a bit of that country and then back to Thailand one way or another. Many thanks
minimum three days to visit Angkor. two days minimum in Phnom Penh. then you can choose where you want to go .. north to the river south to the beach or to the west..

I think 3 days Siem Reap, and 2 days Phnom Penh.

I will third that. 3 + 2 is the answer. Don't forget travelling time. Even if flying, this really eats up the days.
