Hi, i've been a visitor to this forum before and received wonderful assistance. thank u Vagabonda and all the others who have helped. Our trip in 2008 to Tonnara di Bonagia was wonderful and we are planning another now in July. We would like to stay 1 week Taormina and 1 week Tonnara di Bonagia. The Tonnara is no longer an NH hotel and i wonder can anyone tell me is it still open and is it still good quality? We want to stay in one of their apartments, because we have flexibility and can enjoy the hotel facilities including breakfast. If anyone has information on its current status, i would appreciate it. also looking for similar set up Taormina. Residence Guilia attached to the Diadora hotel looks fab but at €240 per night is too expensive. we are 2 adults & two kids (10 & 14yrs). Appreciate any pointers. i would love to visit Taormina. We would like to stay in or near the town but not on the beach area.
