hi we plan to spend three days in sibu taking in the sights and trying out some local cuisine. please indicate what is the best form of transportation available to move in and around sibu. are places like the long houses and sarekeit accessible by public transportation. are taxis readily available for intra town transfers and what are the approximate charges (metred or not?) regards musaphir
Taxis are not metered if I remember right, but cheap and easy to find. Agree fare before you go. Recommend going up river to Kapit (or further to Pelagus Resort) by river boat.
