does any member have any experience of this hotel as a place of accommodation and locality with a view to day trip around the region. is there any public transportation to shimla town. please indicate the frequency and normal travel time. any must try cuisine or visit areas? musaphir
Hi Musaphir, the place is around 25 kms from town. transportation is not a problem. takes around 45-1 hr.

hi vikram thanks for your response. can u please suggest the transportation options available, frequency and indicative fares between shimla and toshai royal resort. would day tripping to shimla, kufri and chail be doable. regards musaphir

hi. sorry for the late reply. days trips certainly doable. the resort lies at a distance of 8-25 kms from the 3 places. cabs will cost you rs300-700 for a drop. a shimla day trip should be 1100-1200. public transport, privately or state-owned, is pretty good & frequent. though i m not sure of a ticket cost. it will be easily much much cheaper than the cab.
