Hallo.... I visited Shendi 4 years before. There is only one hotel on te riverside. The name is "El Kossar" (or similar) it has also a pleasent garden restaurant. In town you can find also several Cafes! Do not forget to arrange the visit and photo-permits for the archeological sites in Khartoum. Enjoy your trip to Sudan Gian Carlo
