Can anyone compare these two drives? I am taking a 31 foot RV onto Skyline Drive and I know I don't want to drive anything like Going to the Sun Road in Glacier.
I did Skyline about 20 years ago, and don't remember it being full of curves (which is what I've hard about Going to the Sun). Maybe call Shenandoah and ask their opinion...? It is georgeous.

One point to note is that the clearance on the tunnel on Skyline Drive is only 12 feet 8 inches. You'll want to make sure your RV is not too tall to clear it.

I just did a day trip up to the Shenandoah last week. We did skyline drive and I found it to be an easy to do drive, albeit I wasn't in a 31' RV. Haven't been on the Sun Road in Glacier, so needless to say can't compare. Skyline is phenomenal in the fall. Hope this helps at least a little bit!...:}
